From Pickering
From Pickering join the A170 (Kirkbymoorside – Helmsley).
Continue on this road until right hand turn for Castleton. After turning here you will pass through the pretty village of Hutton-le-Hole, continue on this road over the moor to Castleton. Approximately 15 miles.
Drive straight through Castleton, past the Church (LHS) and at the bottom of the hill turn right to go up hill. Continue on this road. You will pass the sign for Botton Village near Danby School.
With the red Fire Station doors on you left please turn right, the small sign says Fryup.
Continue on this road, (you will pass the Fox&Hounds pub) for approximately 2 miles, passing Danby Castle Farm on your left.
Continue along this road and we are 2nd on the left after the cattle grid. (Crossley Gate is the 1st).
From Guisborough
Take the A171 (Guisborough to Whitby Road).
Take Right turn for Danby and continue to village.
Drive straight down the village and over 2 bridges and take the 2nd left turn (not the walled entrance marked Easton Lane), there is a small sign says ‘Fryup’. You will turn left when you have the big red Fire Station doors on your right.
Continue on this road, (you will pass the Fox&Hounds pub) for approximately 2 miles, passing Danby Castle Farm on your left.
Continue along this road and we are 2nd on the left after the cattle grid. (Crossley Gate is the 1st).
